GM to reportedly produce Cadillac Converj!
Posted by admin in Automotive News on November 10th, 2009
Shocking (but great) news is coming out from The Detroit News. They are reporting that Cadillac is going to actually produce the Converj concept car. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Converj, it is an electric vehicle somewhat similar to the upcoming Chevrolet Volt. The drive train would likely be shared between the two vehicles. The more luxurious Cadillac vehicle would offer larger profit margins to GM and also allow the development costs of the platform to be shared which would be an excellent financial decision. The Converj would also provide a bit of excitement for the brand as the design is quite unique and modern compared to some of their current offerings (excluding the upcoming CTS Coupe & CTS-V).

Posted by admin in Automotive News on October 19th, 2009
The much anticipated 2011 Buick Regal was revealed in all its glory by an image upload to the official Buick fan page on facebook. It is an unusual way to market the vehicle, but having a direct connection with potential customers is definitely a step in the right direction. The vehicle is expected to initially offer 2 different 4 cylinder engines, a 180hp 2.4L Ecotec 4 cylinder and a 220hp 2.0L turbocharged Ecotec 4 cylinder. Later in its life cycle it is expected that a Regal Sport model (hopefully named GS) will be powered by a 3.0L 6 cylinder producing 280hp, a 6 speed manual transmission is also expected to be available.

Transformers 3 – July 1st, 2011
Posted by admin in Automotive News on October 4th, 2009
After the success of Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen everyone had to be expecting that a third installment of the franchise would be coming sooner than later. The information comes straight from Michael Bay himself via own website.
Here is the quote
“Well its official: We have a great Transformers 3 story. The release date is now July 1st 2011. Not 2012.
Today is Day One. This morning started with an ILM meeting for five hours in San Francisco. Currently I’m flying with writer Ehren Kruger to Rhode Island to talk to Hasbro about new characters.
P.S. Megan Fox, welcome back. I promise no alien robots will harm you in any way during the production of this motion picture. Please consult your Physician when working under my direction because some side effects can occur, such as mild dizziness, intense nausea, suicidal tendencies, depression, minor chest hair growth, random internal hemorrhaging and inability to sleep. As some directors may be hazardous to your health, please consult your Doctor to determine if this is right for you.
Pain and Gain is right after shooting of Trans 3.
Michael”
Hopefully Part 3 will have a better story line instead of just featuring tons of explosions with scantily clad women.

The Batmobile Lives! Cost: $1 Million
Posted by admin in Automotive News on October 4th, 2009
The Batmobile from Tim Burton’s Batman film is one of the most iconic movie cars of all time. This replica comes from Sweden where the owner reportedly spent over $1 Million creating the replica. After 3.5 years and 20,000 hours of work the job was finally complete. The vehicle is based upon a 1973 Lincoln Continental. Funny enough it is even reported that in addition Voice Recognition, Satellite Navigation, a Plasma TV, the vehicle apparently also features working Machine Guns!
